Description

The MLOMA 2023 workshop will be held in Clermont Ferrand on December 21, 2023.

MLOMA 2023 has a main focus on the interactions between the foundations of machine learning, optimization, shapes, manifolds, and real world applications.

The 2023 edition is open for researchers from all countries. The registration is free but mandatory due to limited places. You have to fill the form and submit your application. A confirmation email will be sent to participants after validation by the organization committee.

The poster session is an opportunity for young researchers to present their current research and interact with the other participants. More details on submission web page.

This scientific event is structured in three sessions:

  • Session 1: Essentially dedicated to optimization with speakers:
    • Christophette BLANCHET-SCALLIET
    • Rodolphe le Riche
  • Session 2: Recent topics on shapes and manifolds with speakers:
    • Shantanu Joshi
    • Gérard Subsol
    • Anis Fradi
  • Session 3: Recent works on foundations of machine learning with speakers:
    • Stéphane Chretien
    • Hong Van Le

Methodologies include recent advancements for computer vision, pattern recognition, machine learning, with a large panel of applications:  Paleontology with key challenges for ML models and shape analysis, industry, AI & medicine, and others.
